Rangnick expects Paul Pogba to miss Arsenal and Chelsea games because of a calf injury.

If Paul Pogba is unable to play against Arsenal and Chelsea, Manchester United's next two games could be without him.

After receiving treatment following a Luis Diaz goal in the fifth minute, Paul Pogba was substituted in the first 10 minutes of Tuesday night's 4-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield.

As a result, United's only fit central midfielder was Nemanja Matic, who recently announced he was leaving the club.

As a free agent in the summer, the 29-year-old is trying to run down his contract at Old Trafford.

When Paul Pogba cupped his ears to the Stretford End on Easter Sunday, it was obvious that the away section at Anfield was not fully behind him.

I, for one, would like to see Pogba leave Manchester United as soon as possible.

Ralf Rangnick, Manchester United's interim manager, confirmed after the game that Paul Pogba had suffered a calf injury and would be out for the next two games.

As Rangnick told reporters, "He seems to have problems with his calf, quite similar to Fred," the Manchester Evening News reported.

I don't expect him to be available for the next two games, as of right now.

Pogba's future at Manchester United will be in doubt after this appearance.

We are still reliant on other teams' results in order to finish in the top four, which means United needs at least four points from their next two games.

Hannibal Mejbri might be a good fit in the middle of the field. His effort in the second half against Liverpool was commendable, at least.
