Man United are preparing a raid on Ajax for a 22-year-old forward who is valued at more than £50 million.

Once Erik ten Hag is confirmed as Ajax's new permanent manager, Manchester United will switch their attention to signing one of the club's most promising young players.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal wants to sign Antony in time for the start of next season, according to a recent article in The Sun.

If Manchester United can pay more than £50 million, they should be able to reach an agreement with Ajax very quickly.

The 22-year-old Brazilian international has established himself as one of the Netherlands' most dynamic forwards and has contributed directly to 22 goals in 33 games so far this season.

As the 22-year-old Brazilian forward said to Ajax's official website following Brazil's Olympic gold medal triumph, "playing for Ajax meant I was able to win gold at the Olympics. To say that I've fallen in love with Ajax would be an understatement.

With three years left on his contract, the South American is expected to become the first big-name signing of the ten Hag-era at Old Trafford.
