Gary Neville mocks Man United while predicting Chelsea's win.

After winning the London derby against West Ham, Manchester United will travel to Chelsea on Thursday evening.

According to Gary Neville's sarcastic remarks about Manchester United and Chelsea's chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season, both teams still have some work to do. In a hastily rescheduled match, Chelsea hosted London rivals West Ham at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon before their rescheduled trip to Manchester United on Thursday night (7.45pm).

Chelsea have been dominant for significant stretches of this season, although not being as dominant as title challengers Manchester City and Liverpool. Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester United, and other teams have been left trailing in their wake. However, with two defeats in three games, some speculated that Thomas Tuchel's club would fall short of the top four spots.

In the build-up to their Sunday afternoon clash with the Hammers, commentator Neville made his prediction for the remainder of the season and, in doing so, couldn't help but take a dig at his previous team United, who are currently battling relegation. United were defeated 3-1 by Arsenal, and Ralf Rangnick afterwards conceded that they had failed in their quest for a place in the Champions League final.

Neville made the following remarks on Sky Sports this afternoon: "There is a sense that they have to stop the wheels from coming off after losing their past two [two out of three]. You can see where they are in the table and that they appear to be at ease; they will play at Old Trafford on Thursday.

"But if they lose against Manchester United on Thursday, it will put them in a far more difficult situation. They must have a professional demeanor at all times.
