"What people forget about Ten hag (as amazing as he is) is that he describes himself purely as a coach , he puts his trust in the people above him to make all the footballing decisions , he's not as hands on as other managers. So unless the people making sporting decisions at United miraculously change the way they operate, this could be a recipe for disaster"

I'd really love to see him feel comfortable enough with the replacement of Overmars to stay at Ajax one more year to have another chance to make a deep UCL run, and hopefully pull off the feat of getting Ajax back to the final. As far as where I think would be the best fit for him once he leaves... I think he would be the best choice of an heir apparent to continue the culture City have built with Pep over the past handful of years. His philosophy would fit well with the talented roster City already have, he'd have an excellent academy to develop young talent in, and he'd have an exceptional operational and organizational culture backing him."

I actually expected him to leave after last season because he's had massive success with Ajax for 2.5 seasons at that point and he really deserves a step up in my opinion.
