In a tragic vehicle accident, a 37-year-old former Northampton Town goalie died.

Unfortunately, 37-year-old Freddy Hall, the former goalie of Northampton Town, died in a car crash in Bermuda, where he was a native.

After earning a reputation for himself in collegiate soccer in the United States, Hall spent time with many English clubs.

His former clubs have paid their respects to him following the tragic news of his death this week.

"We are profoundly saddened to learn of his demise," Northampton wrote in a club statement.

"Freddy's family and friends are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time."

"All at AFC Telford United are heartbroken to hear of the passing of our former keeper Freddy Hall," Telford wrote in a statement following Hall's death.

Liam Watson and Steve Kittrick coached Freddy during our season in the Conference Premier in October 2014."

"Our hearts go out to Freddy's loved ones and friends at this difficult time."

Friend and former Chester teammate Craig Mahon tweeted: "Really sad to read this. He was a wonderful young man, and he will be much missed. Also, a member of the Chester fc clan. Thinking of his loved ones and friends. "
