- Another reason for blinking orange light is that you might be accessing the non recommended security settings. Check the security configuration on your router and it will stop blinking orange.

Steps to setup Airport extreme in bridge mode:
- Click on the Airport icon on your screen.
- Then, click on the wireless.
- Go to the base station and set the password.
- Then, click on printers and devices.
- Now, click on the update option and the router will reboot.
- The light on the router will turn green indicating it is set in bridge mode.
One of the common errors that users face is time capsule not showing up in Airport utility. It can happen if the firmware on the router is outdated. You can navigate to settings and check for latest updates and then update your router. You can also perform the power cycle. Unplug the Airport extreme and wait for 10-15 seconds. Then plug it back and connect to the Wi-Fi.
