Rio Ferdinand warns Paul Pogba over Manchester United to Man City move.

Richard Arnold, John Murtough, Darren Fletcher, and the rest of the team should watch Moneyball at the end of the season.

Brad Pitt's Billie Beane sits at the front of the table during a scouts' meeting in Moneyball. He listens them out, he rolls his eyes, he bites his tongue, he spits into a cup, he buries his hand in his hand. Eventually, he snaps: "Blah, blah, blah."

"What's the problem?" Beane asks three times. The scouts miss the problem a third time around. Beane, general manager of the Oakland Athletics, asks them to "think differently."

This room is full of knowledge and insight; now you just have to put your trust in us and allow us handle the job of replacing Giambi."

Jason Giambi, the first baseman, has joined the New York Yankees. Oakland are 'organ donors for the rich', as Beane simply puts it.

"Is there anyone else like Giambi at first base?" Beane is perplexed.

Rio Ferdinand says that if Paul Pogba switched from Old Trafford to the Etihad, he "wouldn't be able to go out in Manchester."

The Frenchman's contract with Manchester United ends at the conclusion of the season. Fans were whipped into a frenzy last week when rumors stated Manchester City had made an offer to Pogba.

There had previously only been interest from the likes of PSG and Real Madrid in the 29-year-services, old's but this was a first for a Premier League club. Despite suggestions that Manchester United hero Paul Pogba was mulling a move away, Ferdinand has dismissed the idea.

Scott McTominay unwittingly reminded Manchester United about a move.

Gary Neville was shocked by what Manchester United fans chanted about the players against Brighton.

"I just don't think Pep takes Paul Pogba," he stated on YouTube show FIVE. The circus around Paul Pogba leaving Manchester United and moving to Manchester City makes me doubt he wants or needs that move. If he does, I'll be shocked.

"Even with how the team is playing, he'll have to play in front of Bernardo Silva or Kevin De Bruyne, who are probably their two best players this season. I don't know where he will play when the two best players on the team this season are playing in his position. So just from a tactical perspective I don’t see it.”

I don't believe that is a good fit for many different reasons," Ferdinand concluded. He'd have to live in London and commute to Manchester; he wouldn't be able to go out in Manchester!"

Since then, there have been rumors that Pogba turned down the chance to play for City and is now looking to move abroad, but no final decision has been made yet.
