Not only was the TechAssure consortium formed in the midst of the pandemic, but the decision to include Cowan in it was also made with the clientele of Cowan's Toronto office in mind. According to the executive director of TechAssure, Garrett Droege, Toronto is "one of the most important technology hubs in North America." This makes Cowan's participation in TechAssure particularly noteworthy.
