Jadon Sancho responds to England omission

Jadon Sancho scored the first goal of Thursday's Europa League match between Man United and FC Sheriff. Sancho was the one who opened the scoring.

After learning that he would not be included in Gareth Southgate's England squad, Jadon Sancho of Manchester United has vowed to maintain his diligent work ethic.

On Thursday afternoon, Southgate announced the 28-man squad that will represent the Three Lions in their upcoming games against Italy and Germany. However, Sancho was not included in the squad, and his Manchester United teammate Marcus Rashford was also not selected due to an injury.

Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, and Dean Henderson, who is on loan from the club, were all selected for the squad, but Southgate did not include Sancho. Even though both Maguire and Shaw have made only two starts for United this season, they were selected for the England squad.

Sancho's goal in United's game against FC Sheriff on Thursday night was an excellent and well-taken finish, and it was the perfect way for him to respond to the disappointment of not making the England squad. He scored the game's first goal in the 16th minute with an excellent and well-taken finish.

After United's victory over Sheriff, Sancho was questioned about his lack of selection for England after scoring his third goal of the season.

In an interview with MUTV, Sancho admitted that making the England squad is one of his primary goals. "Yeah, 100%," he said. "It's unfortunate that I didn't get the call-up, but I need to just keep focusing on myself and continue working as hard as I can, week in and week out," she said.
