Thiago Silva, a former star for Paris Saint-Germain, has spoken out in support of Neymar despite persistent rumors that the Brazilian superstar has fallen out of favor with Kylian Mbappe.

PSG's explosive start to the season has been overshadowed, though, by the tumultuous connection that has developed between Neymar and Mbappe. PSG have enjoyed an electrifying start to the season. It is reported that the high-profile pair have been involved in a conflict on multiple times so far this academic year, and the hostility that exists between them appears to have grown in the recent weeks.

PSG sporting director Luis Campos was allegedly forced to intervene when the two players became embroiled in a feud over penalty duties. The squabble began when Neymar refused to allow Mbappe, who had already missed a penalty earlier in the match, to take a second spot-kick during the 5-2 win over Montpellier in August. Earlier this month, the head coach of PSG, Christophe Galtier, did his best to quell rumors of a feud between the two players by insisting that they were "good."

After Brazil's victory over Ghana by a score of 3-0 on Friday, however, Neymar has reignited speculation regarding the pair's romantic relationship. The former Barcelona player displayed a cold demeanor when he was questioned about Mbappe. He responded by asking, "with Kylian?," before shrugging his shoulders and stating, "I don't." He then left the room.

And now Silva has weighed in on the ongoing discussion regarding the couple's relationship. After playing alongside Neymar in Brazil's victory over Ghana, the star player for Chelsea said in an interview with RMC Sport that he "can't talk about that" in reference to the relationship between Neymar and Mbappé. I'm not inside PSG. I have no idea what is taking place at this moment. I am unable to discuss Kylian here. I can speak about Neymar, who is someone I am very familiar with and who does everything he can to assist his team.

Mbappe, the French striker, discussed the two of them and their relationship a month ago, despite the fact that Neymar appeared to be hesitant to talk about his relationship with Mbappe.

Mbappe acknowledged that he and Neymar have had their differences over the course of their time spent together in Paris, but he emphasized that the two have a healthy level of respect for one another. The former player for Monaco stated the following while addressing the media in a press conference: "To talk about Neymar, this is the sixth year, and I think we've always had a relationship like this based on respect.

"But we've always had moments like this, where sometimes we've had moments that were a bit colder and moments that were a bit hotter," she said. "But we've always had moments like this."
