Four Manchester United players Casemiro can help this season

Since his arrival at Old Trafford in the summer, the Manchester United midfielder has voiced his opinion over Ten Hag's plans for his position on the team.

Casemiro, who plays the midfield position for Manchester United, has discussed the role that Erik ten Hag expects him to play for the club.

With United's acquisition of Casemiro over the summer, Ten Hag was able to strengthen his midfield by adding a combination of steel and experience that was sorely needed. The midfielder may have had to wait a little longer than many fans anticipated for his first start in the Premier League, but he certainly proved that the wait was well worth it once he got the opportunity.

In recognition of his commanding performance in United's 2-1 victory over Everton at Goodison Park, the Brazilian was named the game's Man of the Match and received the award. Casemiro displayed his close control and passing range by bouncing back brilliantly after being dispossessed in the buildup to the Toffees' first goal. This allowed him to demonstrate how the Toffees' first goal was scored.

The newest member of United's squad had a golden opportunity to get his name on the scoresheet early on but instead headed the ball wide of the target. However, later on, his brilliant pass allowed Cristiano Ronaldo to get away down the left side of the field and score the goal that made the score 2-1.
Casemiro has recently discussed his priorities while playing on the field and his desire to add more goals to his game. He has also opened up about his role in the team under Ten Hag's direction.

He stated the following to the organization's internal media: "I believe that the goals need to emerge organically. Everybody knows my work. My job is to defend, which means that I need to assist my teammates and bring the ball forward in a quality manner from the back. That's my responsibility, and if we achieve our goals as a result, that will be great. Other members of our team's roster are primarily concerned with their own goal scoring.

"There's Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, and Bruno Fernandes, to name a few. They are out on the field with the intention of scoring goals. First and foremost, I'm a defender, and I help the team maintain its equilibrium. "My job is to provide my teammates with assistance in defensive work and to bring the ball out of the defensive zone in a quality manner. A goal here or there would be nice, but the most important thing is to do my job well and defend the team well."
