There is currently no information available to Manchester United regarding when the Football Association will announce their decision regarding Cristiano Ronaldo's charge.
After Manchester United's match against Everton on April 9, in which they lost 1-0, the FA announced on September 23 that they had charged Cristiano Ronaldo with improper and/or violent conduct in relation to an incident that occurred after the match.
As he was walking off the field at Goodison Park, Ronaldo smashed a young supporter's phone and later issued an apology for his behavior on social media.
The 37-year-old was given until Monday to contest the charge, but he chose not to. Nevertheless, Ronaldo and United are prepared to mount a defense if he is handed a multi-game suspension.
In United's next three Premier League matches, they will compete against current top-six teams Newcastle, Tottenham, and Chelsea; however, it is currently unknown whether or not the FA will impose a suspension on Ronaldo during this time period.
United manager Erik ten Hag stated, "No, I do not know when the defense will be so we do not have a timeline."
Ronaldo may lead the same attacking quartet that he used in the victory over Omonia Nicosia, with Antony looking to score in his fourth consecutive Premier League appearance. This would be Antony's first time scoring in the Premier League.
The 22-year-old Antony was the first United player to register in his first three Premier League games at Everton last week, but he was taken off against Omonia in the middle of the second half on Thursday night. Antony became the first United player to do so in his first three Premier League games.
Antony was referred to by Ten Hag as a "Development." "I believe that we have now seen his dribbling abilities, his speed, his finishing, and his creating. Now, in addition to that, he needs to work on adding more variety.
