Christian Eriksen is currently on Manchester United's pre-season tour in the United States. He has been training with the squad and is expected to make his debut in one of the upcoming friendlies.

Eriksen joined United as a free agent this summer after his contract with Brentford expired. He had a successful six-month spell at Brentford, scoring 1 goal and providing 4 assists in 11 Premier League appearances.

Eriksen is a highly skilled midfielder who is known for his creativity and passing ability. He is also a good set-piece taker and is capable of scoring goals from long range.

Eriksen's arrival is a major coup for United. He is a player who can make a difference in the final third and he will be a valuable asset to Erik ten Hag's side.

It is still early days, but Eriksen's performances on United's tour have been encouraging. He has looked sharp in training and he has shown glimpses of his quality in the friendlies.

If Eriksen can stay fit, he has the potential to be a key player for United this season. He will be a valuable asset to Ten Hag's side and he will help them to challenge for trophies.

Christian Eriksen criticized a portion of Manchester United's preseason tour of the United States.

During the four-city tour, Eriksen voiced his concern over the excessive quantity of travel required. Although United defeated Premier League rivals Arsenal in New Jersey, Erik ten Hag's squad lost to Wrexham, Real Madrid, and Borussia Dortmund.

Diogo Dalot gave United an early lead against Dortmund, but Donyell Malen scored twice within two minutes to secure the victory for the Bundesliga club. Anthony equalized the score, but Youssoufa Moukoko quickly nullified that effort.

Eriksen spoke to MUTV following the loss and expressed his frustration with the lengthy travel involved in the tour. He stated, "I think it's been good, but there have been a lot of games and too much traveling.

"It's been nice to see all the fans and to give back to them. I think we played a strong game apart from the result. We lost, so it's a big disappointment, but I think we tried to do what we could and I think we played a strong 43 mins in the first half, then the second half as well, but yeah, when we make mistakes like that we get punished.

"It's feeling easier going into the games [with better fitness levels], we're feeling more prepared. It feels good to be playing normal. We expected a tough pre-season, but for me, there's probably been too much travelling around.

The Danish midfielder added:

"Playing in different places but it has to happen. We've adapted and everyone is happy to go home, I think, but we enjoyed our time here.

Ten Hag has been eager to rotate his players throughout their time in the United States, including recent acquisition Mason Mount, who has been given crucial preseason minutes. The 24-year-old England international inked a five-year contract with Manchester United in exchange for £60 million from Chelsea.

United will play two more exhibition matches before opening the Premier League season at home against Wolves. They play Lens, a Ligue 1 team, at Old Trafford on August 5, followed by Athletico Bilbao of LaLiga at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin the next day.
