United legend Roy Keane addresses Ronaldo's Gary Neville snub.

After Gary Neville publicly criticized Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portugal superstar responded by giving Neville the silent treatment on Sky Sports.

Micah Richards socially mocked Gary Neville.

Micah Richards, another sports commentator, has mercilessly made fun of Gary Neville after the Manchester United fan favorite was shut out by Cristiano Ronaldo, who was a former teammate of Ronaldo's.

After making a stunning return to the club in the summer of 2017, Ronaldo has chosen to continue playing for Old Trafford. However, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner wanted to leave this season and drew public criticism from Neville for refusing to come off the United bench during their statement win over Tottenham earlier this month. Neville's comments were made public after the player refused to come off the bench during United's match against Tottenham.

As a direct consequence of this decision, Ronaldo did not travel with the team to play Chelsea. Since then, he has made his way back to the squad and was given the nod to start against West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

Before that encounter, the superstar who had previously played for Real Madrid and Juventus had made his way over to the Sky Sports panel, but the guy with whom he had shared so many victories was not greeted with a warm welcome. In contrast, Neville was given the silent treatment before Ronaldo embraced Louis Saha and Jamie Redknapp. This was quite the opposite of what you might expect.

Following the non-exchange that took place in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Sunday afternoon, Richards (MR) tracked down United heroes Roy Keane (RK) and Gary Neville (GN) backstage. Here is what was said during the social media footage of that interaction. You can also watch Richards take aim at his teammates in the clip that we have provided below.

MR: How does it feel when your mate ignores everything you say?

GN: [To Keane] He asked how it feels to be blanked. How does that make you feel? I am anticipating that you, Keane, will...

RK: You must be overjoyed that he is ignoring you since this indicates that you are...

GN: However, it does tell us something, and that is that he is watching. It indicates that he is being observed. If I had 570 million followers on Instagram, I don't think I'd give a hoot about Gary Neville even if he were my best friend.

MR: However, he was a former member of our squad. Get a move on.

GN: Yeah, I know, but he doesn't behave like someone who's played with me, or him [Keane], for that matter. [For that matter]

MR: To tell you the truth, Keane won't utter a single negative comment against Ronaldo. Honestly.
