The Super Falcons will not be engaged in this month’s international friendlies window just as the future of coach Randy Waldrum remains up in the air.
The likes of South Africa and Morocco will step up their preparations for next year’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand during this window.
Last month, the Falcons were guests of Japan in Kobe as part of their build-up to the World Cup.
The lack of activity by the team comes at a time questions are being asked about the suitability of American coach Waldrum to lead the team at the World Cup.
Waldrum was not at the World Cup draw, which saw the Falcons pitted in Group B alongside co-hosts Australia, Republic and Canada, to further fuel rumours he may not be the man to lead the nine-time African champions.
