WME signs Instagram star Valfre

The American talent agency WME has added another contemporary artist, Ilse Valfre, to its list of growing NFT creators despite the slow growth pace of the Web3 space for most of 2022. This is in spite of the fact that the Web3 space will continue to grow at a slower pace.

On Instagram, "Valfre" has amassed an impressive number of 897,000 followers, and he was also only recently chosen as one of the creators to take part in the "NFT trial program" of the social media platform.

On Instagram, participating artists were able to display non-fungible tokens (NFTs), mint new ones, and exchange existing ones thanks to the scheme. The works of Valfre include "unconventional female protagonists" together with a blend of vintage and contemporary aesthetics and sensibilities.

The talent agency continues to show its support and interest in adding top Web3 creators to its platforms, unfazed by the recent drop in the value of cryptocurrency along with a drop in sales volumes of digital collectibles. Both of these trends have occurred in recent weeks.

It is interesting to note that the firm's clients include some of the most successful celebrities in Hollywood, such as Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Alicia Keys, and Charlize Theron.

Bright Moments, Boss Beauties, and Non-fungible Heroes are just few of the Web3 artists and collectibles that are included in this company's portfolio. Mack Flavelle, who was one of the co-founders of Dapper Labs, is said to have just signed a contract with the talent agency WME.

Recently, the social media network that is owned by Meta made an announcement that it was going to open a digital collections space (an NFT marketplace). The announcement was another significant step forward for the cryptocurrency sector, which was working toward the goal of making ownership of digital assets accessible to a far wider audience of consumers.

It is interesting to note that Meta's move corresponds with efforts being made by Twitter and Reddit to make NFT more mainstream by bringing it closer to their respective user bases. The Instagram test program, on the other hand, will make use of the Polygon blockchain ecosystem, which made its premiere with a small group of artists headquartered in the United States, including Valfre.

In the meanwhile, Instagram has said that there will be no fees associated with any NFT transactions until the year 2024.

The Beginnings of Valfre's Time Spent in NFT

The misconceptions concerning non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are dispelled by the NFT artist who was born in Mexico via her several works of art. Valfre' has demonstrated that there is no way to stop her by releasing a collectible of hand-made digital art pieces consisting of 600 individual pieces.

She is the one who continues to set the standard for the incorporation of NFT into mainstream culture. Her first breakthrough occurred during the time of Web 2.0, despite the fact that she did not come from an artistic family while growing up.

During that time period, she uploaded several of her works to the virtual art gallery Tumblr and shared them with others. During this time, there was no such thing as the digital art space.

Even after it had developed into what it was, the mainstream internet was still undergoing change. Since that time, the artist has made the most of the opportunities to increase her financial security by commercializing her artwork in the form of apparel, prints, and other products.

On the other hand, she had previously mentioned that her upbringing had a significant impact on her career as a female Mexican artist. As a result, she crafted and depicted Mexican realities in her artwork, and in doing so, she brought the stories of her ancestry into her work.

Her foray into the realm of NFT marks the beginning of a new phase of fame for the up-and-coming artist, as evidenced by the sale of her NFTs for 123 ETH, or approximately $2,320.

According to her, non-fungible tokens are all about adding value, and artists can use blockchain technology to put their works directly in front of fans, thereby constructing a community that is beloved in the process.
