King's College London is presently accepting applications from adequately qualified individuals for the Ariyaratnam Scholarship, which will begin with the academic program and session for the 2022–2023 academic year. Only first-year students are eligible to receive funding through

 

One undergraduate student from either the King's Business School or the Faculty of Natural and Mathematical Sciences will receive financial assistance through this scholarship. Mr. Ineeyan Ariyaratnam, a former student of King's College, is the person responsible for establishing the Ariyaratnam Scholarship.

One undergraduate student from an international institution will be awarded this scholarship in order to:

The Faculty of Natural and Mathematical Sciences at King's or the King's Business School
The scholarship has a value of 30,000 pounds and is designed to provide financial assistance with the cost of your educational expenses. The awards will be made in the form of £10,000 per year, up to a maximum of three years, and will be used directly toward the cost of your tuition.

The Criteria for Eligibility


The following are the requirements that candidates for the Ariyaratnam Scholarship at King's College London are expected to fulfill in order to be considered:

  • All applicants must be beginning their first year of undergraduate study at King's College in September of 2022.
  • Applicants are required to be financially responsible for any international tuition costs.
  • Applicants have to be currently enrolled in a degree program in either the Faculty of Natural and Mathematical Sciences or the Faculty of Business (with the exception of the language joint honors courses).
  • Applicants' annual household income must be no more than £50,000, and they must have received grades of AAB or higher on their A-level exams (or international equivalent).

Procedures for Making Applications


Instructions for Applying: Prospective students must fill out and electronically submit the application form in order to be considered for the Ariyaratnam Scholarship. Please make sure that your supporting documentation and personal statement are forwarded to [email protected].

Along with your application, you will be required to submit a document that provides proof of your current financial situation. In the event that these are not provided, your application will not be taken into consideration.
