Hilda was originally scheduled to end at 4 p.m. today, surpassing the current Guinness World Record holder for the "longest cooking marathon by an individual" with her 96-hour goal.
The chef from Lagos began the competition on Thursday after turning on her stove at 4 p.m. and breaking the current world record on Monday morning.

If certified after 100 hours, she will surpass Lata Tondon, an Indian chef who set the record in 2019 with 87 hours and 45 minutes of continuous cookery.
