Peter Obi's Case Against Tinubu Is Postponed.

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) has postponed the Labour Party (LP) candidate Peter Obi's case challenging President Bola Tinubu's victory.

After hearing arguments from both parties on Tuesday, the court's five-member panel deferred the case until May 31.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) proclaimed Tinubu, who ran on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the winner of the election held on February 25.

Obi, however, denied the outcome of the election and vowed to reclaim his "stolen mandate" in court.

Obi and the Labour Party presented their first witness at the resumption of the trial on Tuesday in the case challenging President Bola Tinubu's election victory on February 25.

Obi and LP's lawsuit hinges on Tinubu's disqualification as a consequence of the double nomination of his vice president, Kashim Shettima, and the alleged conviction for drug trafficking in the United States.
