Breaking: PDP G-5 Meeting with Tinubu Behind Closed Doors

Four former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors and the current governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, are having a private meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

At approximately 4:21 p.m., the G-5 governors entered the State House and proceeded directly to the President's office.

Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, and Seyi Makinde, the current governor of Oyo State, are present.

This is Wike's third excursion to the State House in one week; he has been a frequent visitor.

Previously, the G-5 governors were known to have opposed their party's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the February 25 election.
