Chief Sam Nkire, a founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a member of the party's national caucus, claimed that Buhari appointed "Johnny Just-comes" to his cabinet at the expense of those who had worked faithfully for the party for many years.

He added that Buhari failed to reward the hard work and loyalty of those who helped him attain power, to the point where his wife, Aisha Buhari, was forced to denounce him in public.

Yesterday, in a statement, Nkire made the allegation and urged President Tinubu not to make the same mistake.
He disclosed that during his tenure as President, Buhari was sent a 50-man list from the 36 states and Abuja, which included party leaders such as himself. However, Buhari delayed making the announcement until many of those on the list had died while waiting.

The APC stalwart stated that he had nothing against Tinubu forming a government of national unity, but he urged the President to include founding members of APC, such as Dr. Musa Kwankwaso and others who quit the party because of Buhari's leadership style.
Nkire concluded by urging Nigerians to support President Tinubu's efforts to develop the nation.
