Today, Apple Introduces the New 15-inch M2 MacBook Air, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro.

Apple released its latest Mac Pro, 15-inch MacBook Air, and Mac Studio.

Apple has released its most recent Mac Pro, M2-powered 15-inch MacBook Air, and M2-powered Mac Studio.

A little over a week has passed since WWDC 2023, where Apple detailed its intentions for a new 15-inch MacBook Air, as well as an updated Mac Pro and Mac Studio. The most recent Apple-powered laptops and desktops are now available at Apple Stores online and in-person.

In addition to its 15-inch Retina display, the new MacBook Air features Apple's lauded M2 chip, an 8-core CPU, a 10-core GPU, and 8GB of RAM. This makes it considerably faster than previous MacBook Airs with Intel processors. In addition, it boasts a "brand-new" six-speaker sound system in addition to the standard M2 Air features such as MagSafe charging, an integrated Magic Keyboard, and a 1080p FaceTime camera. Plus, you can choose between 256GB and 512GB of SSD storage.

Starting with a 24-core CPU, 60-core GPU, and M2 Ultra processor, the new Mac Pro is available in tower and rack configurations. According to Apple, it is approximately three times quicker than its predecessors powered by Intel. Additionally, both vertical (tower) and horizontal (rack) configurations include at least 64GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage.

The most recent release of Mac Studio offers two options: M2 Max and M2 Ultra. The M2 Max model features a 12-core CPU and 30-core GPU, 32GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage (to begin with). The M2 Ultra model features a CPU with 24 cores, a GPU with 60 cores, 64GB of RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage. Apple claims that this makes the M2 Ultra Mac Studio significantly speedier than any Intel-based iMac and the preceding M1 Ultra Mac Studio.

Today, you can order the new 15-inch MacBook Air, Mac Pro, and Mac Studio for $1,299, $6,999, and $1,999 (for M2 Max), respectively. In the case of the two desktops, however, you must factor in the additional cost of a monitor for the Mac Pro and a monitor, mouse, and keyboard for the Mac Studio. College students also receive initial discounts and a $150 giftcard with purchase.
