Pete Edochie, a veteran Nollywood actor, appears to have responded to the controversy surrounding his son's marriage to his second wife, Judy Austin.

This information follows reports that Yul's first wife, May, has filed for divorce and is seeking N100 million in damages from Yul and Judy for alleged adultery. She also obtained a restraining order prohibiting Yul's access to their former marital residence.

Since Yul and Judy made their marriage and the birth of their child public on social media last year, they have been the subject of intense discussion and criticism.

Following the traumatic death of his first son, Kambili, with his first wife, the 40-year-old actor's actions and social media posts continue to draw criticism.

During a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Pete Edochie used a proverb to discuss his son's marital drama.

He claimed that Yul brought all the negativity upon himself by bringing 'infested firewood' into his household, referring to Judy Austin.

In his words, "he who visits a farm and obtains ant-infested firewoods (among all the good firewoods in the farm) should not be surprised when lizards begin to pay him a visit."
