The video of a National Youth Corps ( NYSC) participant's emotive visit to his parents' grave after completing his service year has gone viral on the internet.
In the viral video, the soon-to-be corps member salutes his departed parents, who were buried next to one another, in the same manner that corps members salute higher-ranking officers at orientation camp.
During this heartfelt moment, a woman, presumably a relative or his sibling, can be seen shedding tears while expressing gratitude for his successful completion of his education and service year.
The caption reads, "What is more painful than a parent not being around to witness their children's academic success?"
The tear-jerking video has prompted a flurry of responses on social media, with many individuals moved to tears by the touching gesture.
