Job Title: Hospital Cleaner

Summary:
The Hospital Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, hallways, bathrooms, operating rooms, and other clinical areas. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to follow strict safety procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect all surfaces in assigned areas, including floors, walls, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Remove trash and debris from all areas.
- Change bed linens and towels.
- Clean and restock patient rooms.
- Clean and maintain bathrooms.
- Clean and sanitize operating rooms and other clinical areas.
- Follow all safety procedures when cleaning, including using personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any spills or hazards to supervisor immediately.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in cleaning or housekeeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow strict safety procedures.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
