Today's contracts: The deal for England's young captain is done, says a reporter.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United and Brighton have reached an agreement on a transfer for Toby Collyer, who plays for England's Under-21 team.

Man United's youth club has confirmed that the youngster, who was born in 2004, has officially signed his contracts to join them, with Romano claiming that the deal is fully finalized.

With a proven track record of nurturing excellent young players, the Red Devils appear to be making another wise decision in the long run with this acquisition.

Collyer has captained England at the youth level, indicating that he is an exceptional player for his age group who is displaying leadership qualities that will be useful in the future for the national team.

Manchester United fans may not see Collyer in their first-team lineup for some time, but in the future, they may consider this as a significant acquisition for the club.

A number of strong additions for Manchester United must be made during this transfer window in order for them to gain in the immediate future. However, it is as crucial for the club to strengthen at academy level so that they can reap the benefits in the coming years.
