Firmino is unlikely to make the switch from Liverpool to Manchester United anytime soon, but his fellow Brazilian Kleberson is a great fan of his and believes he is the type of player his former team needs.
Throughout the years, Firmino has been a little-known hero for Liverpool. He has done a great job as a false-nine to let Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane show off for Liverpool.
In light of this, it's easy to see why Manchester United would benefit from having someone in their squad who could play a similar position and help them get the most out of Sancho and Rashford, who play in a similar way to Salah and Mane, despite the fact that they haven't been quite as successful as Salah and Mane thus far this season.
Liverpool's Roberto Firmino at work
'Roberto Firmino's style would suit Manchester United,' Kleberson stated, according to the Daily Express, quoting Paddy Power.
"He plays higher up the field for the Brazil national team, but he plays a little deeper for Liverpool." He has gained so much knowledge from Jurgen Klopp, and he is really intelligent on the field.
I think he's a good player who can add value to Manchester United if they decide to make a change, especially with Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho on the wing." When those guys are attacking, Firmino can assist them in creating space.
This is the type of guy that Manchester United should be looking for," says the analyst. The team can benefit from having a player of Firmino's caliber."
