Liverpool can beat Arsenal and Manchester United to a forward signing.

Liverpool are apparently the frontrunners in the race to sign Juventus forward Paulo Dybala in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Following recent rumours that he would not be ready to sign a new deal with his current club, the Argentina international will become a free agency at the end of this season.

According to Don Balon, Liverpool are now considered to be the frontrunners in the fight for Dybala's signing, with all parties concerned having given their approval for the transfer to proceed.

For any other clubs interested in signing Dybala, this looks like a major setback. Fabrizio Romano recently announced that he will initiate negotiations with other clubs, including Arsenal and Manchester United.

Dybala may play a significant role at Liverpool, where the Reds are concerned about the future of Mohamed Salah, whose current contract expires in 2023 and there is no indication that a new deal would be agreed upon before then.

Arsenal, on the other hand, may use Dybala as a replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who departed the club in January, and there could be other exits in the form of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah, whose contracts expire in the summer as well.

United would also be wise to sign Dybala on a free transfer, while former Red Devils striker Luke Chadwick questions whether he would be the greatest fit for his old team.

Paulo Dybala to Liverpool transfer on the cards?

"Despite his incredible technical abilities, he isn't the physically strongest person on the planet." According to the way Ralf Rangnick has set up the club, and what the future manager will be looking for, Chadwick "doesn't quite have that physicality or work rate," according to Chadwick in an interview with CaughtOffside.

"He doesn't appear to be the right fit for United, but he's another option to consider if he becomes available on a free transfer." Even if he has the ability to deliver magical moments and turn games in an instant, much of his success will be determined by whether or not the club is eligible to compete in the Champions League next season."
