Tottenham hotspur EYE, AN Attacking player Made IN ITALY
According to a source, Tottenham is reportedly interested in signing Bari hitman Walid Cheddira as a possible Harry Kane up goal successor.
In recent months, Kane has received a lot of interest from Bayern Munich. The German powerhouses lost Robert Lewandowski in the summer and replaced him with Sadio Mane, but they still need a more typical number nine to take Lewandowski's goals.
Given that Kane does seem to fit in best, relocation to the Allianz Arena has been mentioned.
According to German reporter Christian Falk, Bayern will not make any new signings in January. But if they make a move for Kane at the end of the campaign, Antonio Conte would be left without a reliable striker.
In their search for Kane's replacement, Tottenham scouts appear to have ventured to an unexpected location; spurs want to sign Serie B attacker Cheddira, who is in fine form.
He is a Moroccan national who was born in Italy and is having a good time right now. In as many games thus far this campaign, he has scored 13 goals.
This includes a hat-trick in Bari's 4-1 Coppa Italia victory against Hellas Verona of Serie A. On October 1, Cheddira also contributed two goals and an assist in Bari's 6-2 league demolition of Brescia.
Cheddira's remarkable start to the campaign must have been mentioned to Spurs director of football Paratici by scouts, as he might now relocate to north London.
Paratici is reportedly seeking to sign the'super' forward from Bari next summer, according to Sport Insider, who reveal rumours in Italy.
It wouldn't cost much to replace Kane with Cheddira, even though he might leave the club for a huge sum of money (up to £88 million).
Spurs target is for sale for quite a cheap price.
Because of this, the 24-year-old in fine shape might only cost €15 million. That currently amounts to £13 million.
A career-defining next step for Cheddira would be joining Tottenham in the Premier League. Lecco and Parma are two of the minor Italian clubs that he has thus far played in.

Tottenham' attempts to sign Cheddira would not go entirely according to plan. Because Napoli, the current Serie A league leaders, are also considering a move for him.
In talks, they can likely be in a stronger position. The reason for this is that Bari president Luigi De Laurentiis is the son of Aurelio De Laurentiis, the owner of Napoli.
Cheddira is a smart move for Spurs because he is obviously aware of exactly where the goal is. If they were ought to part ways with Kane, the club's supporters would definitely prefer a larger star to play at the Premier League club Stadium.
This could include AC Milan striker Rafael Leao or Brentford's Ivan Toney, who both have experience playing in a top-tier league.

In an effort to dethrone Tottenham and Man Utd from Lautaro Martinez's services, Newcastle is getting ready to send him a significant contract offer that would triple his Inter Milan salary.
