"Not professional": A pundit says that a Man United player isn't good enough for Arsenal.

Arsenal have recently been linked with a surprise bid for Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford.

It has been stated that the 24-year-old is now 'evaluating his future' following a terrible couple of seasons at Old Trafford and after losing his starting berth in both the Red Devils' and England's elevens.

One team said to be interested in handing the United academy graduate a way out of what is turning out to be a nightmare at Old Trafford is Mikel Arteta's Gunners, according to reports (Daily Mirror).

Arsenal fan Tony Cascarino, on the other hand, believes that moving to the Emirates would not be a wise business decision for the Gunners.

"I'm not sure if Marcus is the solution for Arsenal because Marcus isn't clinical," remarked the former Republic of Ireland player while speaking on famous sports radio program TalkSPORT. He doesn't do a really good job of leading the line. In fact, it's one of the two characteristics that you must possess in order to be a part of an Arteta team.

"Marcus would have to improve as a player," says the coach. The transfer fee would have to be substantial, and the wage would have to be substantial, therefore I don't see this as a viable option. It's possible that I'm mistaken. Never in my life have I believed that people are incapable of improving; to believe otherwise is absurd."

Arsenal have been connected with Marcus Rashford.

Rashford began his United career as a member of the club's junior academy in 2005.

As a result of his success since then, he had seemed like a promising young player before suffering a slump in form that resulted in his exile.

Rashford's emergence under then-manager Louis van Gaal appeared extremely promising, with the England international scoring on all of his significant competitive debuts.

Things, on the other hand, look to be getting worse by the day, and with just over a year left on his contract, this summer will be a watershed moment in the young Englishman's professional career.
