One Manchester United legend expresses concern over the likely appointment of Erik ten Hag.

Rio Ferdinand, a former Manchester United midfielder, has outlined why he is concerned about Erik ten Hag being appointed as the club's next manager.

Ten Hag's Ajax team plays well, says the former Manchester United defender, but he believes that is not enough to prepare him for the enormously difficult job that awaits him at Old Trafford. "I like the way they play," says the former Red Devils defender.

In addition to Ten Hag, Ferdinand and his colleagues analysts examined other candidates who could be in the running for the Manchester United position. However, Ferdinand and his other pundits made mention of the fact that Ten Hag appears to be one of the favorites at the moment.

Ferdinand questioned Ten Hag's ability to make an impact at Manchester United on Vibe with Five...

As a successful United manager, Ferdinand claims he will have to deal with a lot of huge egos in the dressing room, which will be unlike anything he has had to deal with at Ajax thus far.

With the exception of a brief stint at Bayern Munich II, the Dutch tactician has never managed outside of the Netherlands, and it remains to be seen how he will be able to apply his ideas at such a large club in one of the most competitive leagues in the world.
