Players' temper worsened following Leicester loss and Rangnick decision.

This season has been very hard for Manchester United, and the mood in the dressing room seems to be at an all-time low.

The Manchester Evening News reports that the Red Devils' performance against Leicester City on Saturday, which ended in a 1-1 tie, appeared to aggravate the atmosphere among the team.

Man Utd players were also apparently astonished to see Marcus Rashford put on the bench by Ralf Rangnick for this game, according to the report, and it does seem a very strange choice by the interim manager.

Rashford has not been at his best this season, but with United bereft of other attacking alternatives, it’s unusual to see Rangnick employ men like Bruno Fernandes out of place up front instead of giving the England international an opportunity.

Marcus Rashford has had a difficult season at Manchester United

Rashford, one imagines, will be a popular presence in the club's dressing room with his long tenure as a prominent member of the squad, so it's understandable that Rangnick's bizarre decision backfired.
