Man United are prepared to cash in on an unsatisfied star for €60 million.

According to Todo Fichajes, Marcus Rashford's time at Manchester United may be coming to an end, and plans for his exit are already underway.

Since returning from shoulder surgery in October, the Manchester United forward has had a dismal season, and his professional development is being hampered by his inability to progress at his hometown team. So both the board of directors and the player himself see that it is in the best interests of all parties if they split their own courses.

He has five goals and two assists to his name in 20 Premier League appearances this season, and he appears to be paying the price for having his growth stopped while under the tutelage of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, a relative newcomer to the game.

Given that Rashford's contract is up in 2023, and no extension talks have taken place to far, it is likely that Manchester United will be eager to trade him this summer in order to prevent losing him for nothing next year if he is not sold. For the Manchester United club to agree to let him leave, Todo Fichajes estimates that it would require €60 million to do so.

Even though Rashford has the choice to prolong his Premier League career, the striker would prefer to accept a lucrative offer from a foreign club, with Paris Saint-Germain rumored to be the frontrunner. While it is unlikely that Kylian Mbappe would leave Paris Saint-Germain during the summer transfer window, it is possible that the 24-year-old may be brought in to replace him.

Luke Chadwick, a former Manchester United player, spoke to CaughtOffside on the benching of Marcus Rashford against Leicester.

When players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani were sidelined with injuries just a year or two ago, you'd never have predicted Rashford not to start. This appeared to be an opportunity for him, but Rashford's career is in jeopardy."

Manchester United's boyhood supporter, who burst onto the spotlight as a star under Louis Van Gaal, was not expecting this outcome.
