Ralf Rangnick says he understands and respects the demonstrations by Manchester United fans outside the club's Carrington training site.
On Isherwood Road, which goes up to the Birch Road, a country lane where the training complex is located, approximately two dozen supporters congregated, prompting police to be dispatched.
Visitor traffic was diverted to a back entrance meant for first-team players only because the facility's main entrance had been closed. "Disgrace not fit to wear the shirt" and "Glazers out" were written on bedsheets that were unfurled by the supporters.
Protests broke out as Dean Henderson approached the training facility, even though there were no United players present at the moment.
'We are all aware that football is a game filled with passion and emotion,' Rangnick remarked. "I believe we can all appreciate, and I believe we can all comprehend, that our supporters are dissatisfied with both our current position in the table and our performance against Everton, at least after we conceded the first goal.
"However, I continue to believe that our supporters are among the greatest, if not the best, in England, and as long as they demonstrate peacefully and continue to support the team in the stadium, I believe they have the right to voice their views to the rest of the country.
"From an emotional standpoint, I can understand their disappointment."
According to a representative for United, "Outside the Carrington training area today, there was a modest and peaceful demonstration against the war. We value the thoughts of our fans and are committed to furthering our relationship with them in the coming months."
