With three debuts against Norwich, Manchester United can justify their decision.

Here are five things to keep an eye out for as Man United takes on Norwich City in the Premier League today.

Changes?

After Anthony Gordon's goal, there were six substitutions at Everton, and it didn't feel like that many before the game. After conceding a goal in the 27th minute, United slowed to a crawl and Ralf Rangnick's in-game management, which has been a source of concern, was once again notably underwhelming.

United would not tolerate a team that remains unchanged, but in terms of alterations, it may be a case of less is more in terms of personnel.

Or is it time to be ruthless?
As disinterested as it was to watch United play at Goodison Park, the more one thought about it, the more unsettling it became. Is it possible for Rangnick to keep two full-backs as volatile as Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Alex Telles, no matter how inconsequential they are in the larger scheme of things?

When it comes to the midfield, Bruno Fernandes is performing in the same manner as he did previous to his contract extension, Jadon Sancho has regressed following his England setback, and Rangnick should not be depending on Paul Pogba to fix the situation.

Diogo Dalot is one of the few players who is truly committed to Manchester United, and a debut for Alvaro Fernandez would at the very least provide some excitement to a game that takes place on the same day as one of the most eagerly anticipated FA Cup semi-finals in recent memory.
A welcome sighting of Hannibal Mejbri ahead of a possible home debut would also be appreciated, and Alejandro Garnacho is more deserving of a spot in the squad than those whose bodies are in Manchester but minds are on a beach.

Who was it who came in from the freezing cold?

Against Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Victor Lindelof was predictable in his replacement for Raphael Varane. He also was predictable in his performance. Eric Bailly has outstayed his welcome at Manchester United, but he has struggled to get opportunities in a season in which Phil Jones appears to have risen to the top of the centre-back pecking order.

Rashford's role in the game

In the Premier League, it has been 826 days since Marcus Rashford last scored in front of an audience as a starter. His last goal as a league starter came 338 days ago, but Rashford's dismissal from the match against Everton in the second half was cruel given that he was United's only goal threat and only competent outfield performer in the first half.

Anthony Elanga hasn't been very good lately, so there's not much reason to change the front three.
