Sancho is expected to miss tonight's Premier League match against Brentford at Old Trafford due to tonsillitis, following his absence from Thursday's 1-1 draw with Chelsea due to the same condition.

And Rangnick feels that the England winger could be sidelined for the entirety of United's final three games of the season.

"It appears that Jadon may be out for the remainder of the season due to tonsillitis, so he will most likely not be available against Brentford," the German said of his star player.

"He obviously has tonsillitis and has also had some high temperatures, which is why he was unable to play against Chelsea and will almost probably be unable to play in the next couple of games," said the manager.

And, if it turns out that the tonsils must be removed, that can happen at the end of the season, if they can obtain control of the inflammation.
