Instead, after his second stint at United, he will join a new team ahead of next season. Last week, reports surfaced that City had emerged as a prospective destination, however the possibility of this move occurring has already been ruled out.
Pogba's advisors, according to The Athletic, have 'advised' Premier League leaders that he will continue his career elsewhere. Three clubs are currently competing for the French international.
But they'll have to stave off competition from Real Madrid, who have been eyeing Pogba for some time. Los Blancos are looking to improve their midfield options and may attempt to pursue Pogba to complement last year's arrival of Eduardo Camavinga.
