After crushing FC Barcelona in the Champions League and waving them goodbye as the Catalans relocated to the Europa League, Bayern Munich focused their efforts on establishing themselves in the bundesliga against a bogey team in Mainz 05, and genuinely did they amaze! The Bavarians had an easy time of it because they worked their brilliance at home. These players are certainly worthy of special recognition, in our opinion.
Marcus Ingvartsen
Although Ingvartsen's strike was referred to as a consolation goal, it was really a knife to the heart for each and every Bayern Munich supporter. Although Mainz was a rather hopeless team (though better than Barcelona in midweek), Silvan Widmer and Anton Stach were maybe even more worthy candidates for the Jersey Exchange. They were simply the most effective players on the team. Widmer's goal from a set piece, however, did not cause as much damage as Ingvartsen's goal, which he scored by taking advantage of Sven Ulreich's substandard passing ability.
Matthijs de Ligt
In all truthfulness, that center defender, who was a Franz Beckenbauer clone, spearheaded the defense's outstanding performance. All players deserve praise; Dayot Upamecano remained reliable, Alphonso Davies giving it his all, and Noussair Mazraoui was outstanding, but De Ligt deserves the prize. Putting my own personal feelings aside, Bayern's best center-back is the Dutchman. The two goals that were allowed were only unfortunate, because his defensive intelligence, abilities, and commanding presence made the Munich backline the wall that it has become.
It was crucial that he was here today. He made a number of significant interceptions, maintained order at the defense, and with each passing game, it becomes clearer and clearer why Bayern has been paying close attention on the defender for so long. He has proven to be the resolute leader the Bavarians had been looking for. Although De Ligt is not a Jerome Boateng in his golden era, his legacy may someday surpass Boateng's.
Leon Goretzka
There are no doubts about this selection because Bayern's beast in the middle keeps demonstrating why he is such a valuable player.
The days of complaining about how high he stands on the pitch are over because it is precisely this placement that benefits the squad. Goretzka's playmaking is what appears to make him the terrifying offensive menace he is, and his placement just enhances the effectiveness of his broad skill set. His absolute strength comes from the fact that he can accomplish anything, and every game shows this. His goals are always amazing, and today's goal was no exception. Today, too, his drool-worthy demise was on show.
Leon Goretzka is just exceptional, so gone are the days when it appeared he would face challenges to earn a place in the starting XI.

Jamal musiala
I understand Serge Gnabry as well as Sadio Mané were both fantastic candidates, but come on, it's Jamal Musiala.
How great can this youngster be, first of all?
He has now scored ten goals, and each and every one of them demonstrates how deadly he is in front of goal. Musiala strikes from vantage points that most seasoned players wouldn't dare. Basically basically, he has an unequaled awareness in front of goal.
Musiala is unique because of his broad range of abilities. Defenders are brought to their feet by his audacious dribbles, and Alphonso Davies himself may be the only player who can match his pace. He persuades me that Thomas Müller can be replaced by him when the dreadful day of the Raumdeuter's retirement arrives because of his brilliance, alertness, and posture. Knowing that the young Bambi will do his best to step into the shoes of the finest attacking midfielder to ever live.
Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting
Choupo-Moting has produced in five consecutive matches, and this was game number five. In retrospect, it seems astounding that manager Julian Nagelsmann waited so long to give the Cameroonian significant playing time.
Simple and unrivaled authority, outstanding linkup play, and expertise that the squad may use in attack are what Choupo brings to the table. His sense of teamwork is unlike anything Bayern has seen since Mario Manduki. He doesn't employ the flashy attacks that players like Gnabry or Mané do, but his subtle movements have elevated the attack to new heights. The characteristics of Choupo and the minor things he does to strengthen the attack might just be discussed endlessly.
