Sancho is training in the Netherlands

In order to maintain his fitness and regain his concentration during the World Cup break, Jadon Sancho of Manchester United is working with Dutch coaches in the Netherlands. This is being done on Erik ten Hag's recommendation.

Sancho had a promising start to the season with United, but his play has deteriorated in recent weeks, which resulted in him being left out of England's World Cup squad.

This season in the Premier League, the winger has only contributed two goals and one assist, and he has not started for United in over a month.

The Manchester Evening News has been informed that Sancho is currently refocusing his attention on his training in the Netherlands with coaches who were recommended to him by Ten Hag in order to prepare for the domestic season's return in December.

According to various sources, Sancho is putting in a lot of effort to improve his form and is seeking advice from Ten Hag. This week, photographs were taken of Sancho working on his close-control ball work around mannequins while he was training at the Dutch amateur club OJC Rosmalen.

Ten Hag stated the following in response to Sancho being left out of Gareth Southgate's World Cup squad earlier this month: "He [Sancho] has had some really good performances [earlier in the season] and was going in a good direction. However, in the most recent weeks he battled a serious illness. If this is the case, it is perfectly reasonable that you will not be nominated for [the World Cup]. Every coach will send only players who are in good physical shape to the World Cup.

United were left with a limited number of options in attack as a result of Sancho's illness in addition to the absences of Cristiano Ronaldo and Antony in the weeks leading up to the World Cup. Argentine teenager Alejandro Garnacho was the main beneficiary of this situation, as he scored the game-winning goals in victories over Real Sociedad and Fulham.

After Ronaldo's contract was terminated on Tuesday, it is believed that Manchester United may bring forward their plans to sign a new forward to the month of January in order to compensate for his departure.
