Eligibility Requirements to Apply for the Routledge/Round Table Commonwealth PhD Studentships
Interested candidates must demonstrate that they meet each of the following criteria in order to be considered for the Commonwealth Scholarships 2022:
- All applicants must be currently enrolled in a PhD program at a university in the UK, albeit they need not be nationals of that country.
- Applicants who are currently enrolled in a PhD program at a university that is a member of the ACU and is located in a
- Commonwealth country other than the UK.
- Must possess both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in the relevant field, obtained from an accredited university or college.
- All applicants are required to provide evidence of their superior academic and research talents.

Instructions for Applying: Individuals who are interested in applying for the Routledge/Round Table Commonwealth PhD Studentships should do so by submitting their applications through the online application form before the application deadline. You are need to provide the following items as part of the application:
A curriculum vitae (CV) A plan for the studentship that describes, in language that is not technical, the work that you want to complete during the studentship
The potential impact of your work during your studentship, as well as how it will contribute to a deeper understanding of the Commonwealth and further the advancement of knowledge in your profession.
The outcomes and results that are expected to emerge from the studentship.
Two letters of recommendation from references; one of these should be academic (ideally your PhD/DPhil supervisor), and the other should be a personal reference letter.
