Students who are selected to get the scholarship will receive funding to assist them in attending the University of Oxford.

The Rhodes Scholarships for International Students | Qualifications to Apply

Candidates must demonstrate that they meet each of the following requirements in order to be eligible for a Rhodes Scholarship for Global Students to pursue postsecondary education in the United Kingdom:

Only candidates who are ineligible to submit an application through any of the Rhodes constituencies in existence are permitted to submit an application for the Global Scholarships.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and must not have turned 24 years old by October 1, 2022, in order to be considered. OR, for candidates above the age of 27 who have finished their first undergraduate degree later than is typical, they cannot have reached their 27th birthday.
Applicants are required to have already earned or will have earned by July 2023 an undergraduate degree (normally a Bachelor's degree) with an academic background and grade that – at a minimum – meets or exceeds the specific entry requirements of their chosen full-time course at the University of Oxford. This requirement can also be met by having an academic background and grade that – at a minimum – meets or exceeds the general entry requirements of the University of Oxford.
Must possess an English language quality that is sufficiently high and demonstrate that they have fulfilled the University of Oxford's requirements for English language competency by the application deadline.

Procedures for Making Applications

Instructions for Applying: Prospective students who are interested in applying for Rhodes Scholarships for Global must first receive a letter of nomination from their current institution. You will be required to register the details of a suitable nominator via the application form, and you will not be allowed to submit your application until the nominator in question has submitted their nomination. Applicants must first be nominated before they can submit their applications online.

Document Requirements:
You will need to provide copies of official documents such as a birth certificate, a National registration Card, a passport, and the like in order to demonstrate that you are of an appropriate age and can adequately describe your geographical background.
Your official transcript from the college or university in which you are currently enrolled or have previously been enrolled.
Providing evidence that you are proficient in the English language.
Provide details about an appropriate nominator.
