INFORMATION | Scholarships made available by the Vice-Chancellor of the University of York

If you are a first-year student and are given this scholarship, the following will be provided to you:

a tuition fee discount of £10,000 in your first year, a tuition fee discount of £5,000 in your second year, and a tuition fee discount of £5,000 in your third year.
Postgraduate taught: In the event that you are selected as the recipient of this scholarship at the postgraduate taught level, you will be eligible for a tuition fee reduction of £10,000.

The Criteria for Eligibility

In order to be considered for the Vice-Scholarships Chancellor's offered by the University of York, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:

The conditional or unconditional offer to study at the University of York must be received by the applicant no later than Monday, 21 March 2022 (round one) or Monday, 20 June 2022 (round two) (round two) (the offer does not need to have been accepted on your part)
Ensure that you are paying fees at the international rate (any fee assessments must be completed by Monday 21 March 2022 [round one] or Monday 20 June 2022 [round two])
Applicants are required to have the intention of enrolling in either an undergraduate or a postgraduate taught master's program at a full-time level.

Procedures for Making Applications

Instructions for Applying: If you apply online for the Be Exceptional scholarships, you will be evaluated for this scholarship without having to do anything else.

You will automatically be considered for both the Be Exceptional Award and the Vice-Award Chancellor's if you submit just one application.

Date limit for receipt of applications: June 20th, 2022
