There are a variety of ways to acquire monetary assistance, one of which is through applying for one of the scholarships that are provided by the School of Global Affairs and the departments that make up the school. When submitting your application for the scholarship, it is imperative that you give some thought to how you will pay for both your tuition and your living expenses for the duration of your program.

This postgraduate scholarship is for the Global Health and Social Medicine field.
The Department of Global Health and Social Medicine is awarding one master's award with a value of £10,500 to one student who enrolls in their appropriate programme during the 2022–2023 academic year and attends full-time.

Eligibility

Students from the United Kingdom, the European Union, and other countries are all welcome to apply.
The top candidate will be chosen based on their previous academic performance, relevant experience (where appropriate), and the personal statement stating the reasons why they are applying to the particular programme.


Eligible Courses

  • Master's Degree in Bioethics and Society
  • Master of Science in Gerontology and Ageing
  • Master of Science in Global Health and Social Justice
  • This postgraduate scholarship supports global leadership and peacebuilding efforts.
  • One student will receive a master's award from the African Leadership Centre in the amount of £10,500 if they enroll in their appropriate programme during the 2022–2023 academic year and take it full-time.

  • The Richemont Scholarship for International Students
  • The Richemont International Scholarship will provide one student with a master's award in the amount of £10,500 to be used toward full-time enrollment on their relevant degree in the academic year 2021/22.

Eligibility

  • Only African pupils will be accepted.
  • The top candidate will be chosen based on their previous academic performance, relevant experience (where appropriate), and the personal statement stating the reasons why they are applying to the particular programme. A mention of the scholarship and an explanation of why the applicant thinks they are qualified to receive it are required to be included in the personal statement.
  • The Postgraduate Scholarship to Continue Your Education at the School of Global Affairs
  • There are two prizes, each worth £10,500, available for full-time enrollment into one of our relevant master's programs in the 2022–2023 academic year.

Students from the United Kingdom, the European Union, and other countries who are currently enrolled in the School of Global Affairs' specified undergraduate courses are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Procedures for Making Applications


Instructions for Applying: There is no specific application process that must be followed in order to be considered for the scholarship. You will be automatically considered for the scholarship if you have submitted a complete application for admission by the deadline, which is at midnight UK time.

An application that is entirely finished has an application form that has been filled out online and all of the accompanying documentation. This includes any personal statements, the most recent Record of Agreed Results, references, and IELTS certifications, if applicable. The Postgraduate Admissions Portal must have received complete submissions of all required materials by the specified due date and time.

The deadline for applications is variable.
