The Criteria for Eligibility

All new undergraduate students, both domestic and international, are welcome to apply.
In order to be considered for a scholarship, applicants need to have a solid personal statement and a minimum expected or final grade of AAA or its equivalent on the GCE A-level.

Procedures for Making Applications


To be considered for a scholarship, students are required to submit a fully filled-out application form by the deadline that is set each year. As part of the application process, you will be required to write a scholarship essay that is 400 words long (please note that statements that exceed the word count will automatically be rejected). This should include three business ideas that you like from other entrepreneurs as well as three of your unique business ideas. Applicants who have been shortlisted may be asked to attend an interview with Sir Alec Reed, who will make the ultimate decision about the scholarship award. If it is required, interviews may be carried out over Skype.
