Please be aware that students attending UNNC are entitled to receive one entry-based Nottingham scholarship grant and one progression-based award over the course of their academic career here. In the event that a student is eligible for more than one prize, the higher of the two awards will be presented to them.

Current students, once enrolled, are eligible for further scholarships and awards based on merit and/or performance, which cover roughly 32.5% of our total student body.

The following is a list of the many postgraduate scholarships available to international students:

Full Scholarship from Nottingham Global The full scholarship from Nottingham Global has a value of RMB 110,000 per student, which is comparable to paying 100% of the first year's postgraduate tuition fee respectively. Countries in the Central and Eastern European Region Full-time postgraduate students are eligible for a scholarship worth RMB 30,000.

The Criteria for Eligibility

In order to be considered for the University of Nottingham International Postgraduate Students Scholarships, you will need to demonstrate that you meet all of the standards listed below.

You must present yourself as an applicant from a country outside of the United States.
Merit-based selection based on outstanding academic accomplishment having attained at minimum standards of UK first class (70), or equivalent, as assessed at the time of entry for the Nottingham Global Full Scholarship.
The Nottingham Global Half Scholarship is awarded to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic accomplishment by meeting the minimum standards of an upper-second class grade (65), or an equivalent grade that is decided at the time of enrollment.
The Nottingham Global A Quarter Scholarship is awarded to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement by meeting the minimum requirements of an upper-second class grade (60) in the UK or a comparable grade in another country, as established at the time of acceptance.

Procedures for Making Applications

Instructions for Applying: Each of the several scholarships requires a separate application to be submitted. In order to finish the Scholarship application process, a scholarship application form that has been completely filled out must be uploaded to the online application system before the deadline that has been established.

In addition, because of the nature of the competition, applicants will be automatically considered for the next eligible scholarships that become available should he or she miss the first round of selection until the quota is filled. This will continue until all of the available scholarships have been awarded.
