APC Prohibits Lawyers From Speaking To The Press

Tuesday, Adeniyi Akintola, the legal representative for the All Progressives Congress (APC), informed the Presidential Election Petitions Court that their legal team has been instructed to avoid media interactions regarding the ongoing case.

Akintola was responding to the suggestion by the presiding judge, Justice Haruna Tsammani, that the petitioners reduce the size of their legal team to allow greater public participation.

Akintola communicated the team's position that any attorney conducting post-proceeding press conferences would be expelled, emphasizing that all courtroom discussions should remain within the courtroom.
