Kwankwaso and Galadima Charge Ogun NNPP Executives On Unity.

Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, national leader and presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the last election, has tasked party leaders in Ogun State with uniting.

Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, national leader and presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the last election, has tasked party leaders in Ogun State with uniting.

This is because the former governor of Kano State also admonished party leaders to persuade and bring back party members who fled during the 2023 election.

Kwankwaso made this observation yesterday when he and a member of the party's Board of Trustees (BOT), Buba Galadima, were paid a courtesy visit by the executive committee and the party's Ogun State gubernatorial candidate, Olufemi Ajayi Oguntoyinbo.

The party leaders convened shortly after Abba Kabir Yusuf (Abba Gida-Gida) was swore in as the new governor of Kano State.

Kwankwaso tasked the newly appointed caretaker executive committee of the party in Ogun State, led by its Chairman Ibrahim Adekunle, with ensuring the party grows through the invitation of new members and the return of former members who reportedly left due to the mismanagement of the expelled former executives led by Sunday Oginni.

Kwankwaso and Galadima argued that by doing so with other party leaders in the state, they could construct a formidable party prior to the upcoming election.

Kwankwaso then urged the party leaders to return home and extend the party's influence from divisions to local governments and the entire state.

He asserted that by having a governor and members of the National and state assemblies in Kano State, the party is already gaining traction and that the success should spread across the country, particularly in Ogun State, where their governorship candidate, Ajadi, has made a name for himself through his charitable deeds.

Galadima, for his part, urged the party leaders to continue gaining strength in the state and to not let the political challenge influence their sagacity.

He urged them to build upon their success in the 2023 elections by consolidating and unifying the party in the state, so that by the time of the next election, the NNPP will be a formidable opponent.
