Akpabio's election as Senate president is a massive slap in the face to the Igbos; I foresee unfathomable calamity

Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church warned Southeast politicians about the senate president election on Tuesday.

Primate Ayodele cautioned that if Senator Godswill Akpabio is elected, it will be an insult in the face to the Igbos, who have been severely marginalized in the country.

In a statement signed by his Media Aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric stated that Akpabio's election would have no effect on the Senate and would not assist Nigeria's democracy as anticipated.

Primate Ayodele stated that if the senate president must be a Christian, then it should be a politician from the Southeast and not the south-south.

According to Ayodele, if Akpabio is elected as senate president, nothing will change in the chamber. As anticipated, the house will not be democratic.

"Bringing in a Christian senate should be Igbo's responsibility, not a person from the south-south. The emergence of the south-south is an insult to the Igbos.

In addition, Primate Ayodele cautioned Nigerians to be vigilant and devout, as he foresees unexplainable difficulties.
