Dani Alves calls Cristiano Ronaldo a "b******"

When Ronaldo was an attacker for Real Madrid and not for Man United, Dani Alves faced off against him several times throughout their time together at Real Madrid.

Dani Alves, a former defender for Barcelona, has admitted that he found it "difficult" to mark Cristiano Ronaldo. Alves went on to describe Ronaldo as a "b******" who "didn't let you breathe," and he called Ronaldo a "difficult" player to mark.

When Ronaldo was playing for Real Madrid, Alves faced off against the star player for Manchester United on multiple occasions. In total, the two players have competed against one another 30 times over the course of their respective careers.

When Ronaldo was on the left wing for the LaLiga giants, he would directly face off against Alves, who at the time was playing right back for Barcelona and had done so for the previous nine seasons.

Also, make sure to check out how Cristiano Ronaldo responded to the requests made of him for Manchester United's match against Sheriff Tiraspol.

Alves, a Brazilian defender who is currently playing for the Mexican team Pumas, has stated that Ronaldo is one of the most difficult opponents he has faced during his professional career.

Alves made these comments in an interview with Hugo Sanchez for Marca: "This ***** doesn't give you a chance to take a breath for even a second, Cristiano Ronaldo. I wouldn't say I did horribly, but it was challenging. He's a point-scoring machine, that one."

Before training, Erik Ten Hag and Cristiano Ronaldo joke around with one another.

During the first team training session for Manchester United, Erik Ten Hag and Cristiano Ronaldo joke around before and after the workout, as well as at other times.

Ronaldo won the Champions League on four separate occasions while he was playing for Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. Before moving to Juventus in 2018, he played for Real Madrid and scored an incredible 450 goals in 438 matches for Los Blancos.

Alves was also asked to choose the greatest player of all time between his former teammate Lionel Messi, who is now playing for Barcelona, and the Brazilian legend Pele. Ronaldo was not one of the options.

"Pele is my pick for just one reason: he revolutionized football. Messi influenced a whole new generation. I'm going to pick those individuals who have accomplishments in other areas besides football. In addition to that, I am of Brazilian descent "said Alves.

"Pele shouldn't even be mentioned in this conversation, in my opinion. Who do I think is the greatest player in the annals of sports history? I'd have to go with Messi. Pele doesn't come into it."
