A woman named Ene who lives in Abuja has expressed her sorrow over the murder of her cousin, Oyije, who was killed by a man who stabbed her.

On Friday, April 21, 2023, Ene wrote a message on Facebook in which she vowed that the family will see to it that the person who was responsible for stabbing Oyije to death would spend the rest of his life behind bars.

"Oyije, my sister, why do you have to depart from me at such an early hour? You are a young person who is vibrant with life. You departed without so much as a farewell. They are really looking into your case, and they will make sure the person who stabbed you spends the rest of his life behind bars, but I really hope you would come to.

Oyije, your passing has created a void in my heart that cannot be filled by anybody else. The most beloved of all of my cousin sisters. Kai I am unable to type RIP. Oyije why," she penned in her letter.
